About the Role: Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of asbestos surveys—including Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition—across commercial, domestic, and industrial properties, ensuring compliance with current legislation and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 and company procedures.
- Collect bulk samples and ensure safe handling and transportation to accredited laboratories.
- Produce detailed and accurate survey reports using industry software.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel.
- Maintain equipment and PPE in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- BOHS P402/3/4 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification – essential.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in asbestos surveying.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel and work occasional nights/weekends if required.
Desirable:
- Experience with TEAMS asbestos reporting software.
- Knowledge of UKAS accreditation requirements.
