Job Title: Demolition Operative\\nSalary: £12.00-£16.00 per hour (dependant on experience)\\nJob Types: Full-time, Permanent\\nSchedule: 8-hour shift\\nLocation: Oxford\\nWith a full order book and exciting projects ahead, our client currently has vacancies for qualified and experienced Demolition Plant Operatives, based in Southern England.\\nOur clients' portfolio is very varied and ranges from NHS trusts, local government, Railway, MOD, schools, housing associations, construction & demolition contractors, and commercial businesses.\\nMain Duties & Responsibilities:\\nTo assist in setting up site including Heras fencing, appropriate barriers, segregate work areas, erecting suitable signage in appropriate locations.\\nTo carry out soft strip and internal demolition within buildings (non-load walls, doors, windows).\\nTo carry out hand demolition of load-bearing walls with an understanding of temporary propping requirements, concrete & suspended floors.\\nTo strip roof coverings.\\nTo dismantle timber & steel roof frames.\\nTo understand salvageable materials and process to prepare bricks, timber etc for re-use.\\nTo advise Supervisor of onsite disputes, programme, or any other issues relating to the works on site.\\nTo select suitable hand or powered tools for tasks.\\nTo carry out required pre-use checks on equipment they are authorised to operate or use.\\nTo ensure that plant, tools, and equipment are looked after, cleaned (de-contaminated if appropriate) and transported in accordance with the procedures prior to off hiring or placing back in stores.\\nIf you hold a full driving licence, you may be asked to drive company vehicles to and from site.\\nTo assist in other areas of the business as and when required.\\nThe following skills and in date training are desirable;\\nExperience of working on demolition or construction sites.\\nAbility to undertake a physically demanding role.\\nHalf mask Face Fits and Service Certificates.\\nNon licensed asbestos removal.\\nGood communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner.\\nAccurate and pays attention to detail.\\nPresentable.\\nCSCS / CCDO Card.\\nNon licensed Asbestos Lung function medical.\\nFull driving license (Desirable but not essential).\\nBenefits:\\nCompany events\\nCompany pension\\nFree flu jabs\\nFree parking\\nOn-site parking
