About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of structural steelwork, balconies, staircases, balustrades, railing, steel and glass systems, and decking in Kent, is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager. This role involves overseeing architectural and structural metalwork projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of architectural and structural metalwork projects including facades, staircases, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke metalwork installations
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold craftsmanship and industry standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles impacting project delivery
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within project teams

Requirements

  • Proven project management experience in architectural and structural metalwork or related industries
  • Strong technical knowledge of metalwork processes, materials, and fabrication techniques
