We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Modeller with strong Amazon Redshift experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data models that support analytics, reporting, Machine Learning, AI, and operational business intelligence initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring data is structured, governed, and optimised for performance across cloud-based data platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into logical and physical data models that enable trusted, high-quality, and accessible data solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing dimensional models, improving data consistency, supporting data integration initiatives, and optimising Redshift data warehouse performance across the organisation.
- Strong experience in enterprise data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Proven experience designing and optimising data models within Amazon Redshift environments.
- Experience working with AWS technologies including Redshift, Glue, and S3.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale analytical datasets.
- Experience supporting ETL/ELT data integration processes and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable data structures.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements including GDPR.
