You’ll be providing technical direction across projects, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring best‑practice engineering standards are maintained. This is an opportunity to mentor and support engineers of all levels, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team culture whilst remaining hands‑on with development work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide technical leadership and direction across projects, shaping architectural decisions
Guide and mentor engineers of all levels, promoting best practices and collaborative working
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Python/Flask
Design and build robust REST APIs with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Work with PostgreSQL databases and cloud‑native patterns across AWS and Azure
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation on AWS
Work with Docker, container orchestration, and deployments across Azure and OpenShift
Foster a culture of quality where testing and code clarity are priorities
Collaborate effectively through pairing and mobbing scenarios
We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who are immediately available or have a 1‑2 week notice period.
You must be comfortable working INSIDE IR35 for this engagement and be UK based for occasional travel to offices in Leeds or London.
