WRK Digital are partnered with a thriving company that has built a leading reputation within the music industry. They are now seeking a Frontend Developer to join their highly skilled team.
As a Frontend Developer, you will be hands-on with coding using modern technologies, working on both legacy systems and upcoming innovative projects. You’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Frontend Developer, working within a small team while engaging with stakeholders across the wider business. This is a hybrid role, based in their central Leeds office, with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite.
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Driving the development and iteration of key features, including search functionality, filtering, player UI, and optimisation of user journeys
- Working hands-on with a production-level codebase using Next.js and React to deliver features used by real users
- Collaborating closely with the wider teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery
- Contributing to the technical roadmap, helping shape architectural decisions and how the team builds products
- Integrating AI tooling into your workflow to enhance productivity
- Playing an active role in planning and technical discussions, contributing ideas and expertise
As a Frontend Developer, you will have:
- Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working with Next.js
- A strong eye for UX and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), with an understanding of best practices
- Experience improving webpage performance and usability
