WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Contract Backend Shopify Developer to help our clients team on the backend development of Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, services & API’s.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining cloud-based applications
- Managing databases
- Integrating with APIs
- Ensuring the Shopify platform's performance and security
Skills & Experience Required:
- Node.js: Experience with Node.js, its frameworks, and related technologies.
- Databases: Expertise in SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Shopify: Good experience with Shopify Liquid, experience with theme development, and knowledge of the Shopify admin system.
- APIs and Webhooks: Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration with Shopify's APIs and webhooks.
- Version Control: Git.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS is essential.
- DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools.
The contract is an initial 2 month engagement working with a talented team of Full Stack Developers.
