Our client is undertaking a significant technology transformation across a large, highly regulated organisation.

As they modernise platforms, simplify their technology landscape, and accelerate the delivery of digital services, security remains at the heart of everything they do.

They're looking for an experienced Security Solutions Architect who can provide architectural leadership across a diverse and complex technology estate.

This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll work across multiple platforms, domains, and delivery teams, ensuring security is embedded by design while enabling innovation and delivery at pace.

This is an opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions, shape secure architecture patterns, and play a key role in delivering large-scale transformation programmes.

The Role

You'll operate across multiple programmes and domains, providing architectural guidance from concept through to delivery, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements and long-term technology strategy.

You will be a trusted advisor to engineering, platform, cyber security and delivery teams, helping to balance security, risk, operational resilience and business outcomes.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures across Azure, data, integration, application and infrastructure domains.
  • Embed security principles and controls into architecture from the earliest stages of solution design.
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, patterns and reference architectures.
  • Work across multiple technology platforms and business domains, ensuring consistency and alignment.
  • Conduct threat modelling, security assessments and architectural risk reviews.
  • Define security requirements and controls covering identity, access management, data protection, encryption and resilience.
  • Partner with engineering teams to support successful delivery and implementation.
  • Provide architecture governance, assurance and technical leadership across strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cyber security, risk, compliance and operational teams.
  • Influence technology direction and support the organisation's ongoing digital transformation journey.
