We are looking for a Junior PMO to join WRK digital. You will be supporting one of our flagship technology transformation programmes. This is a hands-on delivery role — not a box-ticking admin position. You will be embedded in a complex, fast-paced programme environment, supporting real delivery from day one. This role has been deliberately designed as a development journey. Over 12 months, you will be coached and mentored by Nadia Murrell — a seasoned Programme Director with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale IT and business transformations — with the clear goal of becoming an all-round Programme Delivery expert.
If you are ambitious, eager to learn and want to build a meaningful career in technology consulting with a business that genuinely invests in its people, this is the role for you.
What you'll do:
- Own and maintain the programme RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), ensuring it is accurate, up to date and actioned appropriately.
- Produce clear, concise programme status reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate programme governance meetings — preparing agendas, capturing minutes, tracking actions.
- Support project planning activities including scheduling, resource tracking and milestone monitoring.
- Manage programme documentation and ensure version control and filing disciplines are maintained.
- Act as the central point of coordination across workstreams, chasing progress and flagging blockers early.
Learning & Development
- Work closely with Nadia Murrell and Gordon McMullan to develop your understanding of end-to-end programme delivery methodology.
- Be supported through structured coaching sessions and on-the-job learning throughout the year.
- Progressively take on greater responsibility as your confidence and capability grows.
- Contribute to WRK digital's internal knowledge base and delivery frameworks.
What we're looking for:
Essential Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in a PMO, project coordination or project management role.
- Proven experience managing RAID logs and understanding how to escalate and resolve programme risks and issues.
- Strong reporting skills — able to translate complex programme data into clear, readable updates for stakeholders.
- Solid project administration capability: action tracking, document management, scheduling.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities can shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Mindset & Attitude
- Genuinely curious and hungry to learn — you ask questions, seek feedback and want to understand the 'why' behind the 'what'.
- Collaborative and team-oriented; you enjoy working closely with others and build relationships naturally.
- Proactive and self-starting — you don't wait to be told what to do next.
- Excited by the prospect of joining a scaling consultancy and growing your career with it.
- Resilient and calm under pressure, with a positive attitude when things get challenging.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on technology transformation or digital change programmes.
- Exposure to formal delivery methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP or similar).
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
Your Mentor: Nadia Murrell
Nadia Murrell is a commercially astute and results-oriented leader with a proven track record across IT and business transformation. She brings experience across diverse sectors and company sizes, with core strengths in strategic IT leadership, programme recovery and stakeholder management. Throughout your first year, Nadia will provide structured coaching, regular 1-to-1s and real-time guidance as you navigate the programme. Her goal — and ours — is to give you everything you need to become a well-rounded Programme Delivery professional.
Why WRK digital:
- A business that genuinely invests in its people — this role is built around your development.
- Direct access to senior leadership and programme expertise from day one.
- Work on real, large-scale technology transformation programmes that matter.
- Join at a pivotal moment as WRK digital scales across the UK.
- A culture that is honest, transparent, pragmatic and always available.
- Be part of a tight-knit team that celebrates everyone and supports them to succeed.
