The Role:
A key role within the Digital team, you are responsible for the delivery of a highly successful portfolio of customer and business facing digital systems. This includes our main website, resource library and booking system, an online Community, our Ambassadors digital platform to name a few.
This role is one of the key connections between the business and the Digital team to ensure we are successfully delivering projects on time, on scope and on budget. This involves stakeholder management, strong road mapping skills, vendor/supplier management and a focus on value for money.
A strong team player with strong technical skills and understanding, you will foster an environment that enables the team to deliver to their full potential whilst being willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in when needed.
Key Results / Accountabilities expected from role
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to build delivery plans/roadmaps that align with the product vision and deliver value to users and the business;
- Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables;
- Managing projects through discovery, beta and live states, working with agencies, the business and developers to deliver on time and on budget;
- Involvement in the agile process, writing and/or assisting with user stories, running refinement sessions and ensuring the tech teams have everything they need to succeed;
- Deep understanding of our product portfolio as well as understanding how users interact with them;
- Maintain momentum in delivery: Manage the pace of delivery and coordinate releases; Highlight progress to the business; Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies and remove blockers to delivery;
- Providing support operationally where needed (e.g. testing);
- Working closely with developers and wider teams to deliver new products and features in a pragmatic and agile way;
- Monitoring and measuring the performance of our digital products and the impact of changes, demonstrating value for money;
- Managing day to day contracts and relationships with key digital agencies and consultants;
- Work closely with the IT Lead to provide the business with confidence in our Digital Delivery.

Key Experience & Expertise
- Significant experience successfully delivering digital roadmaps using most appropriate methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall);
- Excellent technical skills and understanding (in a digital development context) with the ability to pick up new tool/skills quickly;
- A good working knowledge of the software development life-cycle;
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing environments, being willing to embrace new ideas;
- Strong moderation and enabling/facilitation skills (e.g. workshopping);
- Great communication and collaboration skills honed from experience working with business users at all levels, being comfortable having difficult discussions where required;
- A passion and drive to help realise STEM Learning's goals and vision.
