This is a hands-on role where you'll own both the people operations and workplace experience for our London team, ensuring every employee feels supported, connected, and set up to do their best work.
You will manage everything from ticket queues and employee inquiries to onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration across EMEA. - Act as the on-site liaison for all People Operations functions across EMEA, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits and compensation administration, and time off.
- Create a welcoming and productive daily experience for our London WRITER employees and their guests, managing office inventory to ensure the space is well-equipped with snacks, beverages, and supplies.
- Organize and support internal and external company events and meetings, ensuring every gathering runs smoothly and reflects WRITER's culture.
- Own space and capacity planning for the London office, continually enhancing the office layout and seating plan as the team grows.
- Maintain the London office budget and manage relationships with property management and vendors for various services, repairs, and support.
- Create and iterate on office policies and processes that drive efficiency and better employee experiences across the London hub.
- Experience in a Human Resources or People Operations role, preferably at a high-growth tech company.
- A proactive problem solver who anticipates and resolves issues before they escalate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- Exceptional prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to juggle many tasks and competing priorities.
- Hands-on experience managing office operations, vendor relationships, and budgets.
- A builder's mindset with genuine excitement about creating scalable processes.
- A passion for workplace culture and employee experience.
- Generous PTO, plus company holidays.
- Comprehensive medical and dental insurance.
- Paid parental leave for all parents (16 weeks).
- Fertility and family planning support.
