About Write2Talk

We are currently looking for an Associate Speech & Language Therapist to join our growing paediatric team in Kent. This role is ideal for an SLT looking to top up their hours alongside other work, or for someone seeking flexible, part-time clinical work in a supportive setting.
The Role
As an Associate SLT at Write2Talk, you will work with a paediatric caseload, delivering engaging, evidence-based Speech & Language Therapy to children and their families. Sessions will mainly take place after school and on Saturdays at our Aylesford / Ditton clinic. You will work independently while being fully supported through supervision and clinical guidance as part of a collaborative team. Please note- caseload size will be dependent upon service need and hours available from the associate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Speech & Language Therapy to children
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-friendly therapy sessions
- Provide guidance and strategies for parents and carers to support carryover at home
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and reports
- Work in line with evidence-based practice and Write2Talk values
Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Speech & Language Therapist
- HCPC registered (or eligible to register)
- Strong interest in paediatric Speech & Language Therapy
- Confident, compassionate and child-centred approach
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with children
- Ability to manage a busy caseload
- Experience in private practice (not essential)
- Newly Qualified Practitioners (NQPs) are very welcome to apply
