WG Scaffold Ltd is looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Support Administrator toprovide a full and effective back-office function to our team in all areas of administration and finance ensuring quality assurance and smooth running. The ideal candidate will drive process optimisation and improvements to enhance efficiency and aid the growth and profitability of the business
Hours:-
Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Key Responsibilities:-
- Initial point of contact for clients, contractors and suppliers maintaining existing relationships and building new ones as the company grows
- Administering all aspects of the business and keep systems updated
- Assist management with risk assessments and method statement\’s, quotations, licenses to work, company accreditations, transport compliance and any other ad hoc administration
- Manage all incoming and outgoing communications in an effective and timely manner
- Raise and reconcile weekly invoicing, credit control and processing purchase invoicing and hires
- Support onboarding of new employees and lead the development of the team including apprentices and grant claiming for training where relevant
Skills/Qualities:-
- Proven experience in administration and office co-ordination
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Dynamic, proactive, hands-on person with a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour
- Ability to work alone and use initiative as well as work as part of a team
Qualifications:-
- Competent with Outlook and Microsoft Office suite, especially excel
- Sage experience is preferable but not essential
- Experience of working in scaffold / construction industry desirable
