- Experience of drafting, reviewing, reporting on and negotiating general commercial contracts of all shapes, sizes and complexities is essential, including:
- Services support contracts;
- Goods sales and purchases contracts;
- SLAs;
- Standard terms and conditions;
- Memorandum of understanding;
- Collaboration/joint working/partnership agreements;
- Intra-group and resource sharing agreements;
- Consultancy agreements;
- Non‑disclosure/confidentiality agreements.
Knowledge of the following is not essential, but would be advantageous:
- Experience of working with charities and other not‑for‑profit vehicles such as CLGs, CIOs, CICs, co‑operatives and CBSs.
- Commercial or public sector procurement and subsidy control (formerly state aid) experience, and experience of working with the public sector/local government would be advantageous.
- A general awareness of information governance, data protection and intellectual property law is desirable.
This role would suit a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE, but the workload can be tailored to the level of experience dependent on the successful candidate.
