We are currently seeking a HR Manager to join our successful team based in Sheffield. Working as a valued member of the team, you will provide support to the partners, Chief Operating Officer, HR Team and the wider firm.

What you’ll be doing as HR Manager:

  • Ensuring all firm processes are compliant with employment regulations and that all colleagues are aware of firm policies and the behaviour framework.
  • Supporting the team with the implementation of the strategy.
  • Applying HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Managing complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and termination.
  • Supporting and coaching line managers to deal with issues including performance and sickness absence.
  • Providing advice and support to the team.
  • Supporting the team in monitoring and reviewing policies and processes and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records on the firm’s document management system and the HRIS.
  • Supporting with the administration of payroll and benefit processes.
  • Carrying out HR induction sessions with new starters to cover policies, payroll, and benefits.
  • Participating in the implementation of firm-wide projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the firm.
  • Overseeing the appraisal process and supporting managers with carrying out appraisal meetings.
  • Acting as a mediator in dealing with any internal conflict issues.
  • Checking and amending documents produced by the team.

We’re looking for a HR Manager with:

  • Extensive experience of working in a generalist HR role and managing a team.
  • CIPD qualified to at least level 5.
  • Experience of working in professional services.
