Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a Sales Logistics Controller to join our team to complete all aspects of the Sales logistics and administration.
The Role:
- Responsible for vehicle deliveries, liaising with other departments on ready dates and with 3rd party logistic companies and partners - communicating delivery addresses, vehicle charging during delivery and managing PODs.
- Track and organise non-sales vehicle delivery, liaising with internal departments.
- To adhere to all Sales processes and procedures that will promote a more efficient and effective department.
- Manage and track contractual penalties.
- Communicate delivery plans.
- Communicating with customers for vehicle registration authorisation.
- Collect data on vehicles, including job numbers, fleet numbers and other information required for load sheets.
- Communicating and co-ordinating with internal customs officer and 3rd party logistics companies.
- Update in house database systems in real-time - MIS, Bus Tracker, Sales App, Salesforce.
- Create customer sheets for deliveries and vehicle information.
- Raise purchase order requests for all vehicle movements and approve invoices.
- Collate and send legal documentation for customer vehicles as provided by Homologation.
- Ensure contract files are kept up to date with all relevant documentation.
- Working internally to ensure accurate and approved invoicing.
- Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post.
The Requirements:
- Educated to minimum of 4 GCSE level or equivalent to include Maths and English AND Minimum 18 Months relevant work experience.
- Experience within an office environment.
- Managing logistics of goods and/or vehicles.
- Preparation of reports.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate their ability to work to high levels of accuracy within very strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Deal with information in a confidential manner and possesses good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and contain problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to be flexible, working overtime and changing shift patterns as required.
