The predicted salary is between 16.2 - 19.8 £ per hour.

Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a Technical Publications Engineer to join our team, to ensure all bus contracts have a complete suite of technical manuals for customer and internal use.

The Role:

  • Ensure all bus contracts have a suite of technical manuals available for customer and internal use.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier documentation, handle related queries, and proactively communicate bulletin information to all stakeholders.
  • Communicate defect resolution updates to customers via TSB's.
  • Ensure all technical related email queries are handled daily in a prompt and effective manner.
  • To fully document all relevant information in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Assist in designing and creating customer-friendly booklets covering basic operation instructions, safety information, maintenance schedules, etc.
  • Maintain document control and version management.
  • Implement and maintain document control systems and standards.
  • Liaise with engineering, quality, and legal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Automotive Engineering or Technical Writing OR 5 years recent relevant experience in bus/engineering industry in a similar role.
  • Experience in the production of engineering technical manuals.
  • Experience in technical publications or engineering documentation.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and bills of materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical information & engineering drawings.
  • Implementation and maintenance of document control systems and standards.
