Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe, and we are looking for a Quality Technician (Electrical). The EQAT will oversee electrical assemblies and components during the build process, ensuring buses meet company standards. Their responsibilities include inspecting for quality, investigating and analyzing electrical defects, identifying trends, and supporting corrective action implementation to resolve quality issues.
The Role:
- Inspect and assess electrical assemblies to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Diagnose and validate defects, perform functionality checks, and oversee corrective actions.
- Investigate production failures and analyze data to prevent recurring issues.
- Lead electrical quality assurance, including non-conformance management, audits, and tool calibration.
- Collaborate with managers and teams to maintain quality practices and complete reports accurately.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) and 2+ years as a time-served electrician.
Competencies:
- Expertise in manufacturing quality, electronics, and electrical assemblies.
- Skilled in defect analysis, ISO/industry standards, and production quality systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical understanding of manuals and diagrams.
- Experience with validation processes, RCCA facilitation, and teamwork environments.
