Working shift :Monday – Thursday % shift premium) The Job Summary: Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe, and we are looking for a a Composites Quality Assurance Technician you will ensure that high-performance composite componentsused in vehicle bodywork, chassis structures, and interior partsmeet strict quality and safety standards. The Role: Conduct quality checks on composite components at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications. Inspect raw materials, pre-pregs, and lay-ups for conformity to specifications Verify part dimensions and surface finish using precision measurement tools and visual inspection techniques Interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and work orders. Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Ensure compliance with company quality standards customer specifications, safety regulations, and industry requirements Assist in the development and enforcement of standard operating procedures (WMP\’s) for quality assurance. Conduct audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement. Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Prepare quality reports and present findings to supervisors and production teams. Assist in root cause analysis and the development of preventive measures Ensure all rectification/rework is carried out and meets agreed standards. Implementation of all relevant processes and procedures within the QMS. Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally in relation to Quality matters. Requirements Minimum of 5 GCSE\’s grade C and above OR An apprenticeship qualification 2 years\’ experience in a manufacturing composites environment Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and defect analysis.
