Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a Production Line Manager for our Bicester site. They will be responsible for leading onsite production teams to achieve profit and performance targets. They will drive continuous improvements in operational efficiencies by developing people, processes and systems.

The Role:

  • Accountable for all operational results and reporting on KPI data
  • Planning and controlling of all production processes
  • Coordinating and collaborating with teams and stakeholders
  • Communicating with materials department to plan build and negate issues
  • Lead in the development of lean principles, implementation and delivery of improvements
  • Lead and drive the maintenance of the site
  • Develop and implement a training plan for the team for current and future business demands; deliver an efficient appraisal system
  • Communication of the team and wider stakeholders
  • Lead and management of CAPEX
  • Employee absence, performance and turnover management

The Requirements:

  • BTech in Engineering or similar qualifications
  • >4 years Operational or Production Supervisor experience
  • Computer Literate, competent with Microsoft Office
  • Able to demonstrate ability to drive tangible business improvement
  • Strong Leadership skills with the ability to influence others
  • Good interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Demonstrate within a manufacturing environment working knowledge of Quality Systems
  • Working knowledge of health and safety compliance
  • Strong team approach
