Job Purpose
This is a newly created role to support the business plan for NewPower Trucks. The Sales Manager UK will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and representing the NewPower Trucks brand across the UK.
Location: Home-based with regular travel across the UK
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the sales strategy to achieve business targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Present to small and large groups, including internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and insights to line manager and wider business as required
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery
- Travel extensively across the UK to meet clients and attend business meetings
Education & Experience
- Third level qualification in Sales, Marketing or Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent) OR at least 5 years’ experience working in a sales environment of which 3 years’ must be at a senior level in direct sales.
- Demonstrable record of sales within a commercial environment.
- Proven background of generating sales and winning business.
- Demonstrate relevant technical knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Experience of presenting to small and large groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical and commercial approach to business decision making.
