Purpose of Post

Responsible for the receiving, storing, kiting, assembly and manufacture of detailed and major parts for the production assembly line. Ensuring all parts handled, supplied, assembled and fitted is in accordance with the customer specification and Wrightbus quality standards. Responsible for undertaking any other duties associated with the post.

Key Tasks:

1. Responsible for the compliance with the company\’s health and safety policy and procedures ensuring the warehouse & workshop policies are being adhered to.
2. Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and or hand tools associated with the manufacture or fitting process.
3. Responsible for all aspects of the storage & assembly function within Logistics, including:

1. Receiving and inspecting goods into stock
2. Handling goods with care
3. Putting goods in correct bin locations within store
4. Picking and packing goods using appropriate materials
5. Providing high level of service to internal customers (mainly production)
6. Ensuring on time delivery of kitted material to production areas

General

1. Undertake all duties in line with General Data Protection and maintain utmost level of confidentiality.
2. Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
3. Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the Dignity at Work Procedure.
