Wrightbus are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) while also providing ongoing support for existing manufacturing systems.
The Role:
- Work with stakeholders across the business to analyse, document, and improve business processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardisation.
- Document current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') business processes.
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and improvement to business systems.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Participate in solution design workshops with internal teams and implementation partners.
- Assist with process mapping, functional specifications, and configuration documentation.
- Support testing activities, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of business processes.
Manufacturing Systems Alignment:
- Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to map and optimise business processes.
- Ensure ERP supports core manufacturing capabilities such as:
- Production Planning & Scheduling
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Shop Floor Control
- Inventory and Warehouse Management
- PLM
- CRM
- Reporting and Analytics
- Support integration with engineering and production systems.
Support:
- Provide support for existing Production Systems (including Sage Line 500).
- Investigate and resolve system issues affecting business operations.
- Act as a key liaison between IT, business users, and external ERP implementation partners.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with stakeholders.
Testing & Change Management:
- Assist with system testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
- Support training and user adoption activities.
- Produce user documentation and process guides.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working with ERP and Manufacturing systems.
- Experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX implementations.
- Previous experience with SAGE ERP systems (e.g., Sage 200, Sage X3, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the company.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process maps.
- Understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Experience supporting ERP Implementations or major system upgrades.
Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Business, IT or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within ERP or enterprise systems environments.
- Experience analysing and documenting business processes and system requirements.
- Experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
- Understanding of ERP processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Understanding of manufacturing and operational processes including production planning, inventory management, procurement, and shop floor operations.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Experience supporting testing activities including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Understanding of system integration concepts and data flows within enterprise systems.
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops with stakeholders.
