The Opportunity - Finance Graduate

Start Date - September 2026, typically for 24 months

Starting Salary - £30,000

Minimum Entry Criteria - You need to be near to, or have completed, an appropriate bachelor's or master's degree such as in finance or maths and must be on track to achieve a 2:1 or higher.

After completing the 24-month graduate scheme, you will move into a permanent role within our Finance team.

What does the Finance Graduate Scheme involve day-to-day?

You don’t become a successful business without a team of talented professionals behind the scenes in Finance. This key department is pivotal to our success and as you rotate through three areas, we’ll give you business-critical responsibilities and objectives. You’ll have the support of Finance professionals and other previous years’ graduates; this is a real chance to prove yourself as you study for your ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification with our help, including financially.

What could I be doing?

  • Tax - You will gain insight into direct and indirect taxes, developing a strong understanding of VAT, Import Taxes, and the importance of tax across the wider business and its support to other departments.
  • Operations - You will work closely with the management accountant and assistant financial controller. Tasks may include cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure reporting, data analysis, and supporting the team during month end to meet group reporting deadlines.
  • Treasury - You will be exposed to credit limits, foreign exchanges, insurance risk, and daily cash payments and receipts. This rotation will enhance your analytical skills and give you a flavour of how finance is evolving through automated technology.

We aim to call all candidates whether successful or unsuccessful a few weeks after the interview has taken place. All of our apprentices and graduates will start their exciting journeys with a full induction week in July 2026!
