Driveline Operative
The Job Summary: Due to continued success and growth, Wrightbus are currently recruiting Driveline Operatives.
Hours of Work: 4-day week, 38 hours, Day Shift 06:30-16:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of complex parts, sub-assemblies and safety critical components for driveline chassis.
- Interpreting complex parts and assembly drawings following verbal instructions.
- Working efficiently across multiple operations whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.
- Responsible for fitting and assembling chassis components to Wrightbus quality standards within the production process and adhering to strict production timelines.
- Conducting quality checks, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.
The Requirements:
- Time Served in relevant discipline e.g. Fitter, Mechanic, plumber (written confirmation required) OR 4 Years chassis experience.
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate ability to read engineering drawings.
