We are seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Lead to design, implement, and lead a modern, AI-enabled digital workplace platform across our Group of companies.
The Role:
- Develop and lead the Group digital workplace strategy, defining how employees collaborate, communicate, and access knowledge across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardisation.
- Design and implement a Group-wide intranet platform that supports multiple companies and Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and improvement to business systems.
- Establish the intranet as the central hub for communication, policies, knowledge, and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve the employee digital experience.
- Drive adoption of the digital workplace platform across the Group.
Intranet Architecture & Platform Development:
- Lead the design and development of a modern intranet platform using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
- Define and Implement:
- Information Architecture
- Site Hierarchy
- Navigation Structures
- Configure and optimise SharePoint hub sites, communication sites, and global navigation.
- Develop custom solutions where required using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Graph, and modern APIs.
- Define and implement governance for the Group digital workplace environment.
- Design and optimise collaboration environments, to include:
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- SharePoint Agents
- Microsoft Viva
- Define best practices for Team and workspace creation, structure, and lifecycle management.
- Work closely with HR and departments across the Group to understand business needs and ensure the intranet platform supports communication, collaboration, and employee services.
- Implement collaboration standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise intranet or digital workplace platforms.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and development.
- Experience implementing collaboration environments using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience establishing governance, standards, and information architecture for collaboration platforms.
- Experience leading technology projects that impact large numbers of users.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled collaboration tools.
- Experience in implementing across multi-tenant architecture.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Educated to Degree Level in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, or related field, or possessing equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant experience designing and delivering enterprise intranet or digital workplace platforms using Microsoft 365 technologies.
