The Job Summary

Wrightbus is the fastest-growing production company in Europe. We are looking for an Assistant accountant The successful candidate will play a prominent role in assisting to produce accurate and timely management accounts and management information and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.

The Role

• Management accounts
• To assist in the preparation of timely and reliable management accounts on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and highlight variances to the Management Accountant.
• Preparation and posting of assigned general ledger journals.
• Assist with physical stock checks.
• Other Finance duties
• Assist in the completion of year end audit files as required.
• Aid in the completion of grant claims as required.
• Carry out ad hoc accounts duties.

The Requirements

• 5 GCSE\’s Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent.
• IATI Qualified (or Equivalent)
• 3 years\’ experience in assisting with Management accounts.
• Demonstrate experience of all Microsoft packages including Excel skills.
• Use of an integrated accountancy system.
