We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The company designs bespoke automated control systems, PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA control system solutions.
Duties will include:
- Producing detailed designs, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing projects from concept to delivery.
- Generating circuit diagrams and mechanical layouts using CAD software.
- Providing technical support via telephone.
- Qualifying customer technical requirements.
- Creation of technical reports and documentation as required for customers and development projects.
Qualification skills requirements:
- Qualified to a minimum standard of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar qualification.
- 3 to 5 years' experience as an electrical design engineer.
- Good understanding of design for manufacture, cost, and standardisation.
- Proficient in the use of an electrical CAD package; AutoCAD Electrical desirable.
- Driving license an advantage as may on occasion be required to visit client sites.
