An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join the Care department at our Bromsgrove office. The successful applicant will:

  • Be 5 years PQE+;
  • Ideally hold the Law Society's Children Law Accreditation and meet the LAA requirements for supervisor status. Although we would be happy to consider candidates having proven sufficient experience and who may actively be working toward the same.
  • Have proven significant experience of dealing with both public and private children law proceedings;
  • Be able to deal with a wide range of cases, including complex care proceedings.
  • Undertake a high degree of advocacy, essential in this role;
  • Work closely with clients in a highly client-facing role;
  • Have a professional, friendly and reassuring approach to clients;
  • Deal with their own caseload with support provided within the team, adhering to tight deadlines and being able to prioritise work as required;
  • Display good communication skills and be a strong team player;
  • Be comfortable adhering to compliance, policies and internal systems;

This is a full-time position based on-site at the office. The salary scale being offered for this position is £50,000.00-£60,000.00 gross p/a dependent on experience. In addition, we offer contributory pension scheme, free on-site parking and excellent working conditions.
