We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The company designs bespoke automated control systems, PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA control system solutions.

Duties will include:

  • You will be responsible for producing detailed designs, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing projects from concept to delivery.
  • Using your electrical design skills, you will generate circuit diagrams and mechanical layouts using CAD software.
  • You will also be able to contribute through:
  • Providing technical support via telephone.
  • Qualifying customer technical requirements.
  • Creation of technical reports and documentation as required for customers and development projects.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a minimum standard of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar qualification.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as an electrical design engineer.
  • Good understanding of design for manufacture, cost, and standardisation.
  • Proficient in the use of an electrical CAD package; AutoCAD Electrical desirable.
  • Driving license an advantage as may on occasion be required to visit client sites.
