We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers to join our team on both day and night shifts.
- Day Shift Drivers
- Working Days: Tuesday to Friday
- Start Times: Between 4:00pm and 5:30pm
- Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour or £17.37 per hour (rolled-up holiday pay)
- Night Shift Drivers
- Working Days: Monday to Thursday
- Routes: Regular deliveries to Avonmouth, Portsmouth, and Southampton
- Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour or £18.49 per hour (rolled-up holiday pay)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with all road traffic legislation and company procedures.
- Assist with loading vehicles at the beginning of each shift.
- Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Candidate Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist with loading duties.
- Good understanding of driver hours, working time regulations, and road safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
