Job description:
Working closely with the Financial Accountant and the wider Finance Team, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business while ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a varied role that combines property accounting responsibilities with wider finance support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records for properties including bank postings and reconciliations
- Raise tenant rent invoices and manage associated credit control activities
- Prepare month-end accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Balance intercompany accounts between Workman Properties Ltd and Cotteswold Dairy Ltd
- Assist with annual audit requirements
- Transfer supplier intake data into relevant systems and spreadsheets
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations using automated processes
- Upload BACS payment files to the bank
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Good team player who is willing to support colleagues
- AAT Level 3 or Level 4 preferred
- Strong IT skills including Excel and Word
- Experience using Sage accounting systems (Sage 200 desirable)
