Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a reliable Monday–Friday role with regular hours and no weekend work? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster for a Class 2 Driver to join their team delivering palletised goods.
The Role:
- Start time: 8 AM daily
- Up to 14 drops per day
- Multidrop pallet deliveries across local and regional routes
- Use of tail lift (experience preferred, not essential)
- Typically flatbed vehicle work
Pay:
- £14.80/hour PAYE
- Increasing by 50p per hour in April
Duties Include:
- Conducting pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Safely loading and unloading goods
- Ensuring deliveries are secure and completed efficiently
- Navigating routes while following all traffic laws
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at each drop
- Reporting vehicle defects or incidents to management promptly
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class C licence (Class 2)
- Previous commercial driving experience (flatbed experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Physically fit – able to lift and move heavy items
- Great time management and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
