Job description Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Start Time: 05.30-07.00 Contract Type: Full time 6 month contract Working Days: Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) About the Role We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client for a 6 month contract. You will flex between driving 18t, 12t, 7.5t and 3.5t vehicles. Hourly wage each day will reflect which vehicle you are driving – 18t/12t – £15.00 7.5t – £14 3.5t – £13 This is an excellent opportunity for drivers full time work until the end of the year, with no overnight stays or weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities * Carry out 15-22 deliveries per shift * Complete long-distance deliveries (within a 10–12 hour working window) * Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods * Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects * Maintain accurate records of deliveries Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 licence * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Good knowledge of UK road networks * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Excellent time management and reliability * 2 years experience * MAX 6 points, no DD/DRs What We Offer * Competitive hourly PAYE rate * 6 month full time contract * Day shifts only – no nights out or weekend work * Friendly and professional working environment Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract Contract length: 6 months Pay: £15.00 per hour Benefits: * Company pension * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
