We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to support our client in Gloucester, on a temp to perm basis. Flexibility is key as you will drive a Class 2 HGV or Van, depending on daily delivery requirements, as well as be willing to help out in Production/Warehouse on days when there are no deliveries.
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am Start time
- Standard week will be 40 hours per week
- Manual Handling will be required at delivery points
- £14.00 per hour PAYE
- Temp to perm contract
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles and vans in line with UK driving regulations
- Carry out deliveries and collections as required
- Undertake manual handling duties, including handballing and use of a pump truck
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain high standards of vehicle checks, cleanliness, and safety
- Provide excellent customer service during all client interaction
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no TT99, DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
