Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team the company design bespoke automated control systems, PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA control system solutions.
Duties will include
You will be responsible for producing detailed designs, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing projects from concept to delivery.
Using your electrical design skills, you will generate circuit diagrams and mechanical layouts using CAD software.
You will also be able to contribute through:
- Provide technical support via telephone.
- Qualify customer technical requirements.
- Creation of technical reports and documentation as required for customers and development projects
Qualification & Skills Requirements
- Qualified to a minimum standard of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar qualification.
- 3 to 5 years\’ experience as an electrical design engineer
- Good understanding of design for manufacture, cost, and standardisation
- Proficient in the use of an electrical CAD package; AutoCAD Electrical desirable
- Driving license an advantage as may on occasion be required to visit client sites
