Type: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: £13.98p/h + bonus structure
Hours: 0300-0700 start time with 10-12 hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
Description: We are currently seeking Class 2 drivers on a Temp-to-Perm for our client in the Pershore area. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations. The runs will be a combination of Pallet Network, General Haulage and Danish Trolly's. Before work, all drivers will complete a 3 day induction. Based upon experience, following this drivers will be partnering with more experienced drivers at the company to complete their first few shifts providing a great opportunity for new passes or newly qualified drivers to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle.
- Ensure timely and efficient deliveries to designated locations.
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
- CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred but not at all essential.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
