Job description
- All set-ups and production runs, ensuring safety, accuracy and timelines of all jobs, machines and equipment in the folding area.
- The role will be to set and operate a Brake Press (Amada) to produce parts to technical drawings and instructions
- Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine
- Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations
- Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed

Essential experience
- Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating Amada Brake Press
- Minimum 1 year experience of forming various sizes & thickness of blanks
- Ability to measure each job using Vernier's
- Ability to load and unload material
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies

- Read from Engineering drawings
- Forklift license
