HR Business Partner £Excellent + Bonus and Excellent Benefits – This well-known and market leading organisation is recruiting for an HR Business Partner to support their distribution centre in Bedford. As part of a large and very busy HR team this role offers a good deal of autonomy as well as the chance to build strong and effective relationships with key Stakeholders and Operational Managers.
As HR BP for the DC you will partner the SMT on site to drive employee engagement and deliver the HR strategy. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Taking a lead on succession planning, talent and performance management across the site
- Developing and delivering proactive people plans
- Advising operational managers on HR issues and working with them to improve their management capabilities
- Identifying HR issues across the site and provide positive, business focused solutions
- Taking responsibility for overall recruitment strategy of the site including the recruitment of management level colleagues with a strong emphasis on internal talent pathways
- Managing a small team who deliver operational HR and Recruitment support to the site
To be a success in this role you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, fast paced, high volume distribution business. You will have the ability to influence and manage at all levels and be an inspirational leader. You will thrive in a fast paced, growing and progressive environment and be looking to add value every day. You must have a passion for continuous improvement and always be looking for ways to improve/streamline process.
