Wright Engineering are currently recruiting for Steel Erectors to join their dynamic team working away on site!

Job Role:

  • Be part of an innovative team working on new-builds, maintenance, and overhauls.
  • Engage in projects across Power Stations, Waste Recovery, Building Products Manufacture, and Quarrying.
  • Utilize your skills in medium to heavy engineering, interpreting detailed drawings, and equipment installation.

What You'll Do:

  • Read and apply engineering GAs and detailed drawings.
  • Install and maintain essential equipment like conveyors and ash handling systems.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards while operating plant equipment (MEWP, Loadall, Slinger banksman, PASMA - training provided).

Attractive Compensation:

  • Competitive salary starting at £18.47/hour + £15 per night working away allowance + £25 per day sustenance allowance.
  • Standard overtime rate of £27.70/hour and £39.48/hour on Sundays.
  • Enhanced rates for overtime and weekends.
  • Comprehensive pension plan.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Steel Erecting.
  • Experience in medium to heavy engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
  • Familiarity with plant operations is a plus (training provided).

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend opportunities.

Requirements:

  • CCNSG Safety Passport/CSCS.
  • Qualification in Steel Erecting.
