Job Role:

  • As a vital member of our team, you'll have the chance to work on diverse projects in sectors such as Power Stations, Construction, Manufacturing, and more.
  • This role involves travelling to various sites, perfect for those who enjoy working in new and challenging environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform skilled welding tasks in medium to heavy engineering environments.
  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
  • Join and fabricate metal parts in various processes, materials and positions for construction and structural projects.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in all welding tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary starting at £18.47/hour + £15 per night working away allowance + £25 per day sustenance allowance.
  • Standard overtime rate of £27.70/hour and £39.48/hour on Sundays.
  • Comprehensive pension plan and additional benefits.
  • 25 days holiday allowance plus statutory holidays.
  • Loyalty bonus scheme rewarding long-term commitment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime.
  • Weekend availability.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate welding certifications and safety training.
  • Willingness to travel to different project sites.

Experience:

  • FCAW Welding: 3 years (required).
  • MIG welding: 3 years (required).
  • MMA Welding: 3 years (required).
  • Ability to read, interpret and execute plans and specifications.

Licence/Certification:

  • CCNSG Safety Passport / CSCS (required).
