Reports To: Project Manager & Projects Director

Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE

Role Overview

Wright Engineering are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their expanding projects team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a variety of engineering projects, coordinating design progress, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the projects team to plan, manage, and deliver complex engineering schemes.
Organise and conduct regular reviews of engineering design progress against project schedules.
Communicate project status, updates, and technical information effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including design proposals, technical reports, and project plans.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout project development, ensuring alignment and timely approvals.
Support the delivery of works on-site, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in an engineering environment.
Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage effectively at various levels within an organisation.
Educated to degree level, or working towards, in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Experience with design processes and proficiency in AutoCAD.
