Plant Manager
Reports to: Area Asphalt Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all company and statutory Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, fostering best practices across the team.
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by providing top-tier service for both collections and deliveries.
- Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all assets to maximize productivity and manage costs within established budgets.
- Plan and implement both preventative and unplanned maintenance to ensure smooth site operations.
- Actively manage and motivate plant staff daily, emphasizing individual development through support and tailored training initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive administrative records across various business areas, including Health, Safety, and Environment; Personnel; Sales; Procurement; Quality; and Energy Management.
Required Skills:
- Experience in quarry or coating plant operations.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance programs.
- Skilled in IT systems, particularly SAP.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management abilities.
- SHE NVQ Level 4 certification completed or in progress.
- Current and organized personal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) folder.
