Our client, a leading engineering and fabrication company, is seeking an experienced Site Installation Manager to oversee the delivery and installation of upcoming major projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site installation activities involving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage on-site installation activities
- Supervise mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic installation works
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
- Prepare and manage site programmes using Microsoft Project
- Produce and review risk assessments and method statements
- Manage dismantling, refurbishment, and installation of complex machinery and structures including drives, gears, valves, and pumps
- Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations
- Monitor project progress and maintain commercial awareness throughout delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site installation and project supervision within mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic environments
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager, Planning Supervisor, or CDM Coordinator
- Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC contracts
- Fully conversant with the Health & Safety at Work Act and CDM regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- SMSTS qualification/card essential
- HNC/HND qualification or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant industry experience
