We’re expanding our SEO team and are looking for an SEO Consultant! We’d like to speak with SEOs with experience in content and copywriting, who also have a good level of technical knowledge. Don’t worry if you don’t tick every box – we’d love to hear from anyone with relevant skills and experience, and are happy to support with development.

About us

Wriggle Marketing is a digital marketing agency with a focus on generating real ROI. We work with clients in engineering and manufacturing, across a broad range of industries, on everything from web builds and branding to routine SEO and PPC strategies.

This role is centred on SEO, but will overlap other areas from time to time so is a great opportunity for SEOs who are after variety! Supported by our Senior SEO Manager, Danny, you’ll devise and deliver strategies and report on the real-world benefit to our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing solid SEO strategies for your clients, as well as building a deep understanding of their needs and priorities from both a content and technical perspective
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a close relationship with clients and communicating well with key points of contact
  • Effectively manage your SEO accounts and ensure overall performance is consistently improving while proving ROI, with regular client reporting and catchups (over video call or in person)
  • You’ll work closely with and be supported by our Senior SEO Manager, Danny
  • Day-to-day deliverables include, but aren’t limited to, running technical audits, compiling recommendations across technical and on-page SEO and copywriting – including writing for SEO and web builds
  • Work with our devs to identify and address opportunities with our clients’ sites
  • Identify and, together with our Senior SEO Manager, address areas for growth on all accounts
  • Collaborate with our Head of Paid Search, Dion, to align your SEO efforts with PPC where appropriate
  • Work closely with the wider Wriggle team to ensure all client work is delivered on time, targets are met and communication and collaboration is strong within the team as a whole
  • Contribute to Wriggle’s own marketing, through the likes of authored posts from time to time
  • A proactive approach to staying up to date with the latest SEO trends, including developments in SERP features such as AI Overviews
  • Additional responsibilities could include email marketing, social media support and the creation of case studies and whitepapers across both clients and Wriggle’s own marketing

We operate a hybrid working model, which requires you to be in our Gosforth office a minimum of two days per week (this can be spread over several days if preferred, such as four half days)
