We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated Medico-Legal Secretary and Report Writer to support a Direct Medical Expert (DME) in delivering efficient, compliant, and high-standard reports.
Roles Available
- Medico-Legal Secretary
- Diary management and appointment scheduling.
- Liaise with solicitors, agencies, and claimants.
- Handle MedCo portal workflows.
- Manage case files and correspondence.
- Ensure GDPR-compliant data handling.
- Medico-Legal Report Writer
- Draft medico-legal reports from clinical notes and dictations.
- Format reports in line with MedCo and CPR Part 35 requirements.
- Assist with amendments and addendum reports.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and professional standards.
Essential Requirements
- Prior experience in medico-legal / personal injury reporting.
- Familiarity with MedCo processes and UK medico-legal standards.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience working with DME or MRO organisations.
- Knowledge of soft tissue injury reporting (RTA claims).
- Experience with medico-legal software (report writing platforms).
