About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and proactive Part-timeNursery Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This role is perfect for someone who understands and embraces a “planning in the moment” approach, supporting children’s learning through their interests, curiosity, and play.
You will:
- Support children’s learning through responsive, child-led interactions
- Experience of working with pupils with additional needs
- Be patient and adaptable
- Have knowledge of May I Join You/ Intensive Interaction strategies and play
- Haveknowledge/understanding of trauma informed approaches
- Create a nurturing, stimulating environment that promotes independence and exploration
- Build strong relationships with children, staff, and families
- Contribute to observations and assessments of children’s progress
