The Governors of Wat's Dyke County Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cleaner to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that our school provides a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, families and visitors. Maintaining a high-quality learning environment for all pupils is a key priority. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and shared areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting throughout the school.
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities and replenishing supplies.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
- Supporting the school in providing a safe, well-presented environment for all users of the building.
Experience is desirable; however, training can be given.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position.
