Caretaker - St Anne's in Wrexham

15 hours per week- temporary until 18/12/2026

We are looking for a Caretaker to be responsible for the day to day maintenance, security, cleanliness and general upkeep of the school premises and grounds; ensuring that the school provides a safe, secure, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The post holder will work closely with the Headteacher and current cleaner.

Key responsibilities:

• Unlocking school each morning, carrying out routine checks of the school grounds and building
• Undertake minor repairs and maintenance with some decorating tasks during school holidays
• identify maintenance issues and report defects to the senior management team
• carry out basic seasonal tasks eg collecting leaves and gritting paths
• completing fire safety procedures including routine checks
• maintain agreed areas of the school site to a clean, safe and presentable standards
• ensuring adequate stock of toiletries eg hand towels, soap and cleaning products
