Personal Assistant Required

I am looking for a personal assistant who can support me with some hours after school during the week. I am 13 and have Down Syndrome. I’m very social and love being active, enjoying swimming and playing tennis. I also love music, colouring and watching films and television. It would be an advantage if the PA could drive and had access to their own car with the correct insurances.

Summary of Duties:

  • Meeting the individual from their school transport and providing support for a period of time after school.
  • Support the individual to access activities they enjoy – this could include transport to weekly swimming lessons.
  • To support and maintain independence within the home as well as out in the community.

Days required: Initially 2 days after school (needs to include Monday)

Hours required: Initially up to 4 hours (Some hours during weekends and school holidays to support with social activities may also be required going forwards).

Hourly Rate: £13.00

5.6 weeks rota of AL per year. Please note that you will be working directly for the Employer who is supporting the individual to manage the Direct Payment. Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
